“I’ve been a collector of vintage items since my late teens and have a passion for anything to do with airplanes. My Dad was in the R.A.F. for 23 years and he gave me many items from his service career - this started me collecting similar items related to the services (books, manuals and badges) but this has branched out into other areas of the period (photographs, art, furniture and clothing).
Ironically TV of the 70’s and 80’s had a lot to do with extending my interest, loads of great period dramas like ‘The Monocled Mutineer’ by Alan Bleasdale fed my imagination.”
